Looking back!

I guess this fall has been very busy since I have not written single post. There is not that much traffic which may be a hint . . . However, this is a place were I can write things that I would not tell people around me. I have to admit that I do wonder some times about the things people write on a blogg and I see who knows who on facebook. Sometimes it feels like that gives me an edge ... Oh, well maybe I am just being synical.

Anyways, considering my last post we did go on our own holiday last year! We sunbathed nude!! Moreover we were among other people! A new and interesting experience. Well that is something I'd never tell people around me. It is my husband and my little secret and now you know as well!

Parent sitting!

That is how I feel at times. We spent a few wonderful weeks in France (in Sweden we enjoy five weeks vacation). Three of our teenagers came along and we stayed in an appartment with a balcony overlooking the pool area as well as palmtrees and various blossoms.

We planned, wished for a some afternoon deligth as the one thing that would make this vacation even better. Get those endorfines going, brush away any feeling of beeing irratable at the kids lack of putting things away. IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! Someone forgot this, that or was just going to....

Do they have an evil scheme or is it just circumstantial!! I do not know, but it feels like the kids are afraid to leave us alone. Maybe it is a way of conditioning parents so we will not mind when the kids move away from home.

A good laugh

Everynow and then the subject of grooming comes up in a blogg, today I found this one Honeybell where a kind wife offers to wax her husband! I have done that and it is great to subjet your husband to the pain of of vanity. Having had four children, waxing pain is really not that bad, except some really sensitive areas.

I have a hard time keeping up to date with blogging during the more hectic time of the year but something I still can do during those times is to listen to podcasts. As soon as I go out the door to go to work, go shopping, at the gym I listen to very interesting short podcasts. Last year around Christmas I think it was Business News Cover Story that taked about various gadgets to buy for Christmas and they mentioned this Well, I laughed at this really great commercial and was impressed by the way it was just enough to be really funny without offending people.

Do have a look and maybe it is something that you will want for your darling under the Christmas tree. (No I do not have anything to do with the company, but I do like clever commericals, especially when they add humour.)

I could have saved 3000 dollars!!

I read a post today on Worker Mommys blogg about the gifts men like to get. Not presents but something with the words "silence" and "oral". Well, I wish I would have read the post yesterday, it would have saved me a lot of money. Today is fathers day in Sweden. Well, to be honest he did get one of the two most wanted gifts before breakfast and he was happy! As he usually is after a satisfying start of the day. However, for breakfast I had wrapped a little gift that said we were going to buy a new plasma TV. He was extatic since I have been saying that the stove is older and needs to be replaced before the TV.

We went to the store and of course my darling and the two children who accompanied us were in agreement that a 50" was a much better idea than a 42" TV. We would regret not getting the larger one within days, my darling whispered something about how size does matter....

Well, we actually had to take a cab home, since the TV would not fit in our stationwagon. The new TV is installed and then I read this post. Come on worker mommy!! You mean he would have been happy with just the before breakfast present... well, I'm not sure. Maybe I spoil him to much in any normal week!

Mushroom hat and a push-up bra!

My statistics for the posts are terrible as the fall progresses. I am busy at work, busy at the gym, travelling with my work, busy looking at the kids sports and also taking an extra course in corporate accounting. To relax I have kept up with my morning walks and when I find mushrooms like the one on picture I take it home and fry it with my morning eggs. Yummy! I have no idea what this mushroom is called in English.

My darling lover is also very busy, not so much with work but with extracuricular activities such as coaching and instructing at the gym. However, these extracurricular also take their toll and we are ready to get away for some TLC. We are checking various sites to see if we can take one short trip now and a week in the spring. These getaways are usually wonderful times and we have become addicted to them. We also enjoy our vacations with the family but our times away on our own helps us not just remember our initial infatuation but actually developing and exploring our relationship.

For now we just have to enjoy our everyday life and find the comedy in small things. Like this week when we had someone in our house to give us a price for a new energy system. We were in our laudry room with the sales rep and all of a sudden my darling is trying to whisk away something from the clothing line that is hitting his head. It is the only piece of clothing on the line and it is one of our girl's push-up bras. When the sales rep left we showed the girls what had happened and we laughed and laughed. I really did look funny with my husband whisking as if he was attacked by flyes and it was a lacy bra!!

The best of times

This summer we invested in a solarium! We can still eat our family meals in the solarium even though it is pitch black by the time the dinner is made. This evening my darling had made a wonderful meal with porkfilés and mushrooms. We were all gathered exept for one child. We ate and talked, talked and talked. The kids told us about memories of their childhood. Strange behaviours, favorite childrens programs, memories from various trips. It really is the very best of times.

These times that we will me look back at when they have all moved out of the house. When we have the room to have gym facilities in the house and be all organized (I still think that will happen) and have afternoon sex, loud morning sex and solarium sex.

Well, what can I say, it is a fulfilling lifestile now and will be in the future as well. Now we will just have to be satiesfied with muffeled evening and morning sex but the joy of still having our most loved ones at home!

Making noices in bed

Even when I am very busy there are a few minutes where I can look for inspiration, this had me laughing today!
